meme

Note to self: do not wear green t-shirts, the bugs (the big ones) think you are their mother, or maybe a tree? Yesterday, you embarassed yourself in front of a gardner because when he cut a branch, a leaf (or so you thought) came flying towards you.

It turned out not to be a leaf but a big grasshopper or praying mantis...whatever, you can't remember what it was, but it was big, it had beady eyes. You screamed because it was crawling up the front of your green t-shirt...ack! You shook, but it clung onto you for dear life. The gardner came to your rescue, laughing while he shooed the dude off....unnecessary perspiration for a hot and humid day....so don't wear green t-shirts...what is it with these flying things these days?

So, what about the meme? I'm getting to it...here goes...The lovely lady in the Kahakai Kitchen, Deb, tagged me for a meme. I probably won't pass it on as most bloggers I know have done tons of memes, but I'll be a good sport and do this for her.

I'm with you on #8. It's almost a slight sense of panic until I figure it out. :)

Ohh-flying bugs attached to you are NOT good!

You are a good sport! I have to say I felt a little like I was sending out one of those chain emails (that I always grumble about and don't do) where it says if I don't send it to 10 people I will have bad luck! But this was better because I get to know a bit more about the people I picked! ;-)

Good answers! I miss MOS Burger! I think there may still be one in Waikiki but I used to eat at them in Japan and Singapore. Do they still have the croquette burger?

Thanks for playing along!

Take care you two.

Gag! Just reading about that flying insect made me have the heebie-jeebies! Loved all of the answers on your meme...except remembering that dreaded incident at your apartment. Jerks!

Hi, hi! That's funny that bugs think you are their mother or a tree. But some time ago I had the same problem with caterpillars, no matter which t-shirt I wore. And I am a morning person who doesn't get out of bed too easily and always needs an alarm clock. Sleeping too long makes me tired and then I am tired all day long ...

Gosh, I would be afraid to go outside if it was with any t-shirt, Beadexplorer :)

Take care.
