sigh....

Luckily, these carrot cupcakes were disastrous the day before Satoshi's staff came for lunch.

Not sure what I did wrong because they came out okay two weeks ago. I felt crappy about throwing them out because ingredients are expensive and there are people in areas of the world who aren't eating real meals.

All in all, the party was great, I added spicy garlic soybeans to the menu and resorted to apple-blueberry crisp for dessert.

Hope you have a great week.

Hey Kat, sorry about the carrot cupcakes. At least you were able to make a different dessert in time.

Take care,

What's the recipe? Perhaps we can see about some tweaks to improve?

Don't worry about it, we all have our days! I am sorry though...

Poor little cupcakes! :-( Sometimes you just can't help it--you gotta toss it. The spicy soybeans sound great and I love a good crisp--sounds like your guests were well fed cupcakes or not!

You could have popped them in a box..etc.
I would have eaten them in a flash-nice and messy

I'll remember to send them to you the next time a disaster strikes, PB :)

Hi.

I looked at the recipe and thought what lovely ingredients. Unfortunately I can't see what's wrong:(

Just as well you're organised and have got a tried and true recipe-which sounded delicious by the way-and time to do it in. '"Sasuga!" to omotta.'

Tamakikat,

It was weird because I did half a batch the two weeks before and could barely fill the tins, but it came out good. Then the disastrous batch :( Oh well, it will be sometime before I try this again.

Take care.
