How was 2008? Despite the economy, I hope it was a good year for you.
Looking through all of my photos, it looks like 2008 was a delicious year. (I've put together a mosaic of some of recipes I've tried)
Thank you for reading our adventures. Though I have not met most of you, your comments and e-mails brighten my days.
I look forward to more new adventures in the kitchen, as well as travelling around Japan in the New Year.
May 2009 bring happiness, good health and prosperity to you.
Happy New Year!

Good luck and happy new year. It has been fun to watch your life of travel through the stomach... :-) here is a Norwegian Christmas dish I've posted at my gluten- and dairy free blog. http://parkveien.blogspot.com
Beautiful mosaic! Your blog inspires me to try new recipes! Someday when I have a bit more time, I would love to try them out. Right now, I always seem limited to 30 minute meals, lol. Appreciate you sharing a bit of Japan's culture with us.

I only been your blog a few months and already learnt about different foods and dishes.
I am really hoping to visit a Japanese Restaurant and try something other than sushi and sashimi as they can buy in any supermarket in the UK. My family are being horrible and say I can't go. Also there's a chance I won't be able to visit Japan after all.
Happy New year to you. I will celebrate again on the 26th as this Chinese New Year, we follow the lunar calendar.
If my plans change and manage to go restaurant I email you for some advice. If you don't mind.
Looks very delicious - I will have to browse through your archives to see these yummy looking recipes. Happy new year to you and yours!
