starbucks

starbucks32811 (2) Over the past month or so, I've tried several things at Starbucks...

From their petite series...a fruit cupcake.

starbucks32811 A mini yellow cupcake filled with spice cake.

The frosting or glaze was quite hard and sweet, it was topped with dried fruits and nuts.

Delicious but I think they had noted it was 200-something calories?? eep!

starbucks32811 (3) I also tried their cocoa cappuccino...a cappuccino topped with chocolate sauce.

Meh, stick to the cappuccino or cocoa separately.

starbucks32911 Caramel pecan biscotti...this when dipped into coffee...melts!

Good but you gotta eat it fast or be prepared for it to crumble between your fingers or have some fall into your coffee.

starbucks42011 Tiramisu cake pop...this was more creamy than the first cake pop I tried.

A coffee cream filling with bits of chocolate that were shaped like coffee beans.

starbucks42011 (2) Super sweet, definitely nice with black coffee.

starbucks42511 Strawberry milk cake pop.

This was sweet also, but in the middle was a tart strawberry gelee to balance things out.

starbucks42511 (2) Also on the outside freeze-dried strawberry bits.

A lot of different items, like I've said before, very hit and miss.

What have you been enjoying?

Love Starbucks especially the free wifi and such a buzz with all the young and techy people around :)

Reading this reminds me of some spammer that contacted me about putting a starbucks ad on my site (maybe you heard from him too). Of course, no mention of paying me, so I said that in Italy it wouldn't fly because we don't have starbucks anyway. The doofus writes back and says "you don't have starbucks? haha!" Goes to show what idiots abound on the web.

I love the wi-fi too Chopinmysaucepan, when it will let me get onto it. :p

yeah, I got that spam mail too Rowena, I clicked on their link to see what it was about and there were some spelling errors so I figured it was fake.

Take care you two.

You get such different products in Japan...though I do eat the plain almond biscotti whenever I pass by.
I can't resist.
Fun to see your stuff...

Starbucks Japan is lucky to have such a good customer there. ;-) Someone gave me two of the cake pops here to try Tiramisu and Birthday Cake. I liked the tiramisu one best but both were way too sweet for me. ;-)

I should really buy stock there Deb in Hawaii ;)

Rowena's comment was funny! Anyway, Kat you have been eating a lot in Starbucks! LOL. I feel like it's so Japanese to have so many kinds of new items appearing each season (I think?). Here I feel like the items are ALWAYS same. Kind of boring. Everyone orders same thing, I guess?

Mmm, strawberry- I wish they had that cake pop in the US!

Only reason I like Starbucks Nami, is because it is only place that is smoke-free and they let you sit for long time :)

I think strawberry would be a hit in the US, K :)

Take care you two.

The Starbucks here doesn't have such cute treats as those cake pops -- I'm surprised to hear they're so sweet though. Irresistibly cute!

Thanks Manju but it is bad news for my b-u-t-t :p

Take care.
