In the past, whenever I've eaten a value meal at KFC, I've asked to swap the fries for their slaw...nope, it couldn't be done.
To tell you the truth, their fries are limp, and not really tasty.
Yesterday I went to eat at KFC and was surprised...there is an apparent dock strike in the US.
This means no potatoes for KFC to fry. (why they can't use potatoes from Japan or another country is a mystery to me...)
So instead, they added their slaw to our value meals.
Even though they upped their value meal prices a bit, I like their slaw better anyway...

Dock strike in the US? I didn't know. But then . . . I didn't even know that some of the Kaiser Permanente workers have been on strike for a few days here . . . and that's pretty big news.
I didn't know Kaiser was on strike, Jalna, thanks for the heads up:)
Take care!

no kfc here (that i know of) but I've got it on my list if we get over to france.
Hi Kat: I love cole slaw too, but I think KFC's cole slaw sucks big time! I think it is more like lawn mower clippings!
ah I hope you'll get to france soon Rowena:)
lol Alan :)
Take care you two!
Kat
That's a nice silver lining!
