What a year it was!
So many natural disasters!
Thankful for the good days and the bad ones too.
I hope 2020 will be a good year for everyone.
As always, thank you for reading our blog and being a part of our adventures.

you know as well as I that 2020 is gonna be nuts. the presidential election for one thing, and all that is happening for potus at the moment. we need to look into the costs of installing AC before summer - auwe!
Hey Kat: I think I may have made this same comment last year, but I forgot your answer. I was looking for your comments on shogatsu foods that you may have had. Maybe some ozoni and some osechi? I know you are from Hawaii and must have experienced (as I have) all the Hawaii New Year celebratory feasts, especially those from people of Japanese ancestry. Man, I really miss those types of foods. I haven't had those type of New Year's feast foods in maybe close to 40 years!!
