Here's today's breakfast.
Our "mini" bagels with cream cheese, salmon, sliced red onions, capers and some ground pepper. The zoom lens on this digital camera makes it seem like a normal sized bagel...I thought it may be too small, but it was just right-- for me! I think Satoshi may still be hungry....
I found a nice surprise out on my lanai (or veranda as the Japanese like to call it)...late blooming lavender!

Wow! This morning has been a plethora of delicious food pics to look at. I am almost tempted to make my own bagels but... I'm up to something else. ;-)
Hi Kat,
So glad I can finally comment on your blog.
The meals you fix always look so delicious. In my 12-year career as a housewife, I have never done such a great work even in a single time!!
As for bagles, I like things served in a small size. They should definitely have those mini-size bagles on the market. Not the American size, but Japanese size, I think. (too small even for Japanese??)
Hi Rowena,
I'm impressed, I saw what you were up to this morning..he he he.
Hi Mihoko,
Thanks for stopping by. I'm enjoying my time in the kitchen, it is very interesting at times and relaxing too.
Take care you two!

now that's what i'd call a perfect breakfast. actually, that would work at any time of day for me. ;-)
A blooming lavender plant, that's just awesome. I can't wait until the hubby and I have a little patch of dirt to grow fragrant herbs in!

Yummy bagels! I just love the smell of lavender! Someday I will have the time to cook and bake some of the interesting things you make. Take care! Laura
