harada pan

Recently Kazumi gave me some rolled cake by Harada Pan. (Thank you!)

Harada Pan is a bake shop in Kobe.

Their rolled cake was delicious, light, the butter cream filling wasn't too sweet, juicy raisins embedded the outside of the cake.

I want to go and check out what else they have, hopefully soon.

Kat, you sure have been indulging in the most exquisite and delicious-looking stuff. Still, I look forward to your annual return to the islands. Wanna read about sun and warm climate!

Happy New Year!

Thanks Rowena, planning the trip for July, so you'll have to wait a little longer :0

Come to think of it, you're right. I wish we had more of that type here! :)

I love this type of cake. Sometimes I can buy a matcha flavoured one here. But not today. I had to buy Australian lamingtons.

Hopefully more bake shops will change their style, Lori :)

I have never tried a lamington Barbara, I hope the next time you go to buy cake they have matcha for you :)

Take care you two.
