Starbucks' short creme brulee macchiato (410 yen about US$4.10) and almond brownie (240 yen about US$2.40).The creme brulee macchiato is similar to the caramel macchiato except they use a darker, slightly bitter caramel on top.
The brownie is moist and there are lots of almonds on top...while these two items are delicious, they are not good together (sugar rush!).

Oh oh.....now you got me wanting for almond-studded brownies but first the kids and I will go for a hike. That's a lot of almonds on top!

I've never had the macaroon, Girl Japan, but the macarons are delicious.
