It is Day 2 of my stay and I have been...sick!
Don't want to share too much gloom (or info) but let's just say whatever I have eaten it hasn't stayed down for very long...sigh!
The weather isn't being nice either as it POURED, thundered and lightning-ed.
I am feeling a little better as I type but still nervous as to what will agree with my stomach and what won't.
Hoping to kick this fast so I can at least enjoy all the New Year foods.
Will keep you posted.

Hope you feel better soon and get sunnier skies.
Take care of yourself in this miserable and muggy weather. I really dislike being sick on days like these. if I cover up, then I get hot, if I don't, then I get chilled. Can't win, sigh.
On a brighter note, I made your adaption of the kinpira kabocha recipe for a potluck and got rave reviews. Since I'm not known as one of the skilled cooks in my section, some people were curious as to where I got the recipe. I gave you credit of course!!
I hope you feel better soon Kat, I can sympathize. I have IBS and if I eat anything other then my limited safe foods I get sick as a dog. Christmas time took its toll :(
Awwwww . . . wishing you a speedy recovery. Welcome home!
Odaiji ni!
Sorry to hear that you tummy hasn't been feeling well and hope that you'll be better before new year's eve celebrations and EATS. I called my dad the other night...he said the same thing about the weather - pouring!
Hi there.
I don't see any updates so I take it that you're resting.
Sure your family is giving you lots of TLC. (If you're unfortunate to be ill though home in Hawaii is probably the best place to be.)
Again I hope you get better soon.
