ritter sport

Found this Ritter Sport at Jupiter, an import market in Kyoto recently...milk chocolate, hazelnuts & nougat cream.

Delicious, lots of hazelnuts.

While I really enjoy dark chocolate, sometimes you just need something sweet.

Apparently this just came out for Winter and is only on their German site.

Japan gets more new stuff than we do, I never even heard of this. The only ones that I don't care for are the white chocolate varieties. Too sweet.

yeah I don't care for the white ones too Rowena. Even though I have tons of chocolate in my fridge, I am always on the lookout for more :p

Take care.

I love Ritter Sport. I first saw it in Japan many years ago and then had a stack of it when I was in Europe going through Germany. European chocolate is my favourite. I also love Lindt and Milka.

I've seen Lindt and Milka around here J-A, but find them a little too sweet for my taste.

Take care.

p.s. my friend tried making her own bar at the Ritter Sport factory in Germany :) sounded like fun.

Wow, I was just doing a web search last month for the Rittersport champagne flavor, but I think it only comes out in spring. That was my favorite. I never see the seasonal Rittersports around here. You're lucky you can find seasonal flavors in Japan!
