elgorriaga

Found this at the train station's convenience store...Elogorriaga's Galletas from Spain.

In Spanish, galletas are cookies...these are filled with a chocolate cream.

The taste of the cookies without the cream, reminded me of a creme cracker that we have in Hawaii.

Best part was that these were on sale for 105 yen (about U$1.05)...4 in a package, a great little snack.

Yum- they look good! They sort of remind me of digestives in England, are they like those or a lighter biscuit?

Had to google "digestive". Never heard of it before. It's neat learning about different stuff on your blog!

Cream crackers....does that ever bring up fond memories. My grandma used to make some hot chocolate and serve cream crackers for breakfast! We (me and my cousins) loved dunking broken halves into the cocoa until soft and then slurping it into our mouths.

I used to love them with pb & guava jelly on them Rowena :)

Take care.
