in the garden...

My brother started a planter box and put in some Manoa lettuce, taro, roma tomatoes and this husky cherry red.

For cherry tomatoes, these are pretty huge.

What's growing in your garden these days?

Wow, that's a big one! We've got four different types of tomatoes, Xiang Chun ya (which is a tree), serrano peppers, thai chilies, ghost chilies, Japanese cucumbers, rainbow chard, basil, rosemary, shishito peppers, mint, dill, and green onions...and I think we'll do some kale, collards, and brussel sprouts later.

When we're away, the tomatoes and zukes will probably go through a huge growth spurt so that should be nice to come home to. I'm also trying to grow caper berries, and the volunteer shiso plants are up again!
