So, I was telling you that I finally got to try Soup Stock Tokyo.
For 500 yen, you can have the soup of your choice. And you can choose rice or bread.
I chose rice, which came sprinkled with sesame seeds.
The rice is on the firmer side, so it goes really well with their soup.
The soup I chose was their 7 veggie with ginger soup...really delicious!
And, the recipe is in their cookbook, so I hope to try making it soon.
I'll be back.

I went to the Soup Stock Ikebukuro branch a few times last time I was in Japan. We would buy a take-away soup and pair it with an Auntie Anne's pretzel. I liked the chicken pottage and the onion soup, they were so delicious. I find that the take-away soup places in Melbourne are usually quote bland, so it was a nice change!
Sarah, I should try it with Auntie Anne's pretzels too :)
Take care.

That sounds good Kat.
What a deal at 500 yen, and the soup bowl is cute too!
Looks delicious! Do you think they would mind if you mixed both as like an Ochazuke? haha
it was good Kirk :)
I know the bowls were so cute, Rowena and the price was super reasonable.
I guess you could, K, you may get stared at though...lol
Take care everyone!
