We had been here earlier in the year but at that time it was off season for them.
This time around, they had so many pretty varieties and there were quite a number of customers sending cyclamen to friends and family.
I think they have been around for awhile since their interior is quite retro and so is their restroom...eep! Japanese style!
I had their tempura soba...the broth was a little too salty for my liking but the warm noodles hit the spot.
He enjoyed this and perspired profusely!
There are other items on the menu that Satoshi wants to try so we'll be back.
They opened last year and we finally got to check them out.
Marron pie...a whole chestnut and chestnut paste covered with flaky pastry.

that cylamen place is so pretty! I wasn't successful at growing cyclamen after the blooms died. they're so pretty when in bloom, the colors are so pretty. of well, just gotta keep buying new plants.

I love going to Japan when the weather is cold. But . . . I've always wondered . . . why do the stores crank up the heater so much that I feel like I'm roasting in my cold-weather clothes?

Jalna, pre-pandemic most shops do not open their windows which make you feel toasty, nowadays, we have to keep air circulating, so the windows are open and maybe the heater is on.

That's good to know about the windows opened for circulation. I'm with Jalna, the shops are so hot but what was more curious was that the Japanese people don't seem to mind the heat. I'm dripping and they're bundled up, in fact look at you kind of weird when taking off scarves and jackets.
