buddhist priests

Throughout the year you will see o-bosan (priests) scurrying around on mopeds.

I've often seen them driving cars too (even one in a MINI) but the fastest way around for them seems to be on these mopeds.

I'm happy that all the ones I've seen on mopeds wear helmets. It's Friday here, have a nice weekend!

That is cool....and on the handlebars...is that a mitt attached?! Never seen them before.

So funny, it's been a while since I've seen lots of mopeds in use (last time was Hawaii really, and maybe all those Vespas in Italy but not sure that counts). It makes total sense for Japan.

Would've loved to see the one in the Mini! :)

yes yes, mitts on the moped Rowena, they even have them for bicycles too :)

Hopefully one day, I'll be able to catch the one in the MINI, Jude :)

Thanks Jalna :)

Take care everyone.

So cute :D

Here we have Japanese motorcycles also, looks like vespa with lots of modification. Not too different than in your pics! Even they have brought a vintage taste in the new products, just like the one you showed in your pic! :D
