bigot Lately I've been buying baguette from Bigot (bee-go). Most places charge between 240 and 260 yen, the size of the baguette range too.

Some charge the higher of the price range and give you a teeny baguette...boo!

bigot (2) I like the fact that Bigot's baguette is about 60 centimeters (that is nearly 2 feet) and only 241 yen (tax included)...yeah, I measured it.

When you toast it, the outside gets crispy and the inside kinda chewy.

bigot (3) I know in France most people keep their baguette in a cloth bag, but in Japan, they give you a plastic one.

I usually re-use the plastic bag I receive and put other breads into it afterwards.

It's Friday here, hope you have a great weekend!

I love Bigot! My favourite Bigot item was the petit pate. I used to special order them at my school (we had a very small Bigot on campus), and I ordered them so often, they made them part of the regular rotation of goodies!

I love baguette and that reminds me. I heard there is a very famous bakery in Osaka...but now it's everywhere (even in my hometown). I can't remember the name but do you know what I'm talking about? Anyway it seems like it's SUPER popular... I wish to try their bread one day!

hmm, not sure which bakery you are talking about Nami, if you remember the name, please tell me about it :)

Take care.
