asadaya

Came across this takikomigohan mix at the market.

It is made by a famous ryokan in Kanazawa called Asadaya that has been around since 1659!

Just mix the stock with 2 cups of washed rice...no need to add water.
Cook and enjoy!

I loved the sakura aroma that it had while cooking.

The rice turns a light pink, but that is from coloring.

I would definitely get this one again.

V, hope to get back to that store. Since I don’t ride the trains too much, the next time I do I’ll check it out.

Take care!
