out to smell the roses

After lunch yesterday, I went to Yamashita Park because I saw something on social media that the roses were blooming.

From where we live it is about 30 minutes by train.

There were tons of people, but also tons of flowers.

So pretty and definitely more flowers than the Harbor View Park which we visited last year.

I also picked up some carrot cake and a slice of banana bread from Bluff Bakery before coming home.
