Was near Minoo station the other week doing some errands and checked out Momiji Bakery to pick up something for lunch.
I've past this place a couple of times but they were always closed. Luckily on this particular day they were open.
I picked up their hot dog which was wrapped in French bread. The bread was nice and chewy and the weiner had a nice snap.
There was also some grainy mustard inside. I also ate it with a splash of Tabasco and some ketchup.
Another item I tried was their Yuzu (Citron) & Lemon danish.
Flaky and filled with yuzu and lemon jam.
Their prices are pretty reasonable too. For both items I paid 320 yen (about US$3.20)...I'll be back.

p.s. Nate wanted to know how the cilantro he gave me was doing. I planted 7 seeds and they are all doing fine. About 2 inches tall. I cover the pot at night with plastic so that they don't get any frost. If the day will be sunny then I remove the plastic and let the pot soak up the sun. I think next month I will bring the pot indoors.

Hi Kat - I have a strange attraction to pastry wrapped hot dogs..... everytime I see one I want to buy it.
That cilantro is looking good, and love the sound of that hot dog (mmm, love nice and chewy hot dog buns) and danish. :)
Also, that's so cool about your homemade Kahlua! I gotta look into that :)
where I live that's called pigs in a blanket.
The hot dog and danish both sound so good. And cute your cilantro plant!
I'm amazed at your cilantro. Gonna try growing some again but indoors. Oxtail soup weather is here and I like tons of cilantro in my soup.
Me too Kirk :)
Let me know how your Kahlua turns out Jude :)
We call it pigs in a blanket too Ren :)
Hoping the plant gets bigger Jalna :)
Me too Rowena, hope you can get some seeds!
Take care everyone.

Love this herb although we call it coriander. Tasty nonetheless :)
Try making pesto using this instead of basil ... YUMMILICIOUS!
pesto with coriander/cilantro sounds delicious R&B :)
Take care.
