on the lanai

I caught a glimpse of the bell pepper, there are about 5, really skinny ones.

The four goya (bitter melon); 1 is really big, the others not so.

Since the "full sun days" are getting less and infrequent, I'm getting ready to harvest the cilantro.

Probably going to make salsa and some banh mi with it.

Hope your week is a good one.

If you can, save the roots of the cilantro to use in your cooking! The roots are hard to come by in Canada because farmers harvest the cilantro earlier. But they're much desired for some Thai dishes (and probably other SEAsian dishes, too).

your cilantro looks great, I think is ready for harvest. Mine is still very small, I hope it will grow a bit more before the cold arrives.

For the other seeds, put small quantities in air-tight packets (little zip-locks) and freeze.

Jude,
The temps are supposed to drop over the next couple of days here, so I hope to use the cilantro within the week :)

Take care.
