tanioka's

Lunch from Tanioka's the other day.

Only US$6.50 + tax for this bento.

Some rice with furikake, some fried noodles (with bits of char siu), couple pieces of teriyaki beef (very tender) & a couple pieces of mochiko chicken (very moist).

Totally filling and pretty cheap eats.

Bento mania on your blog Kat. Fried noodles, char siu, teriyaki...sigh...I wish we had places like Tanioka's instead of chinese restaurants that cater to italian tastes. Blah! Btw, what is the tax rate now? Still 4.167%?

Looks really good but I noticed most of the pictures that you post have very little veggies. Is this typical of Hawaii?
