Those do look stubbier than the ones i've seen. Wonder how hot is hot on the Scoville scale?

Hi Kat,I use these in my stir fries. They add a nice amount of heat in it. Yummy!!
Hi Kat - That really looks like a Fresno Chili. It's definitely not a typical Thai Bird or Dragon's eye chili, the type I'm used to seeing. Those are very thin.
