tanenashi kaki

The apples this year haven't been to crisp. Probably because of the funky weather.

So, I've been buying different fruits for our breakfasts...like this kaki (persimmon). It's called "tanenashi" which literally means "no seed". It actually had teeny seeds though.

What have you been enjoying?

I've been eating persimmons, too! I've introduced a lot of my co-workers to them, too. Can you believe many (possibly even most) Canadians have never tried a persimmon?

I've also rediscovered my love for grapefruits!

That is amazing Rona! I love grapefruits but don't buy them too often because I think they'll affect Satoshi's medications.

yum Kirk, upload those Mexican food pics so I can get my fix too :)

Take care you two!

We're waiting for the blood oranges to finally come out, but not sure how they did given the weather this year.

I hope they had a good year, Rowena!

Take care.
