mount fuji

Not sure how much you enjoy seeing Mount Fuji, but if you get excited about seeing Mount Fuji as much as we do, here are a few of our "secret" spots to view Mount Fuji.

Click the links to view short videos...

Tamagawa Sengen Jinja...about 3 minute walk from the Tokyu Tamagawa station.

The rooftop observatory deck Domestic Terminal 1 at Haneda airport.

No humidity is key to viewing Mount Fuji.

Good luck!

I love see Fujisan especially this time of the year. When I go to Japan on my trip in Feb, I'm hoping to see from our hotel in Mishima and the Soga Bairin. When I stayed in Mishima in October couple of years ago, we had a really good view of Fuji from our rooms even though it was looking over a treatment plant :O! Also, in October, it's just a brown cone:( so kind of excited hoping we get the rooms on the right side to see the snow cap.

in season 9 of masterchef australia there was an episode where the contestants were in a tea field and fuji was in the background? I wonder if it's open to the publice or only for the filming...it was the coolest thing, maybe I can find that episode online.

The first time I saw Mount Fuji I was on a shinkansen going to Kyoto. It gave me goosebumps.

Rowena, I think I know where you are talking about as it sounds like the same location that was used for an HD television commercial, we hope to visit that area too!

Thanks Kirk :)

Cool Jalna!

Take care everyone!
