I got a new yutanpo (the one on the right).
It is a little "slimmer" and smaller than my old one (the one on the left).
Both were made in Japan.
I like the zip-up case (not made in Japan) for the new one, but still use the red pouch together with the zip-up because the new case is a little thin (don't wanna get burnt!).
This time around, I hope this one will last longer.

I hope this new one keeps you nice and toasty!
Thanks K! I've been using it the past two nights and it is wonderful :)
Take care.

Other than the yutanpo to keep your warm, how many blankets and what type (cotton, wool, synthetic, etc.) do you use? We pull out the thin goose feather comforter in winter and that plus a fitted bedsheet is enough to keep us warm. We also have a thicker comforter but I find it to be actually too hot. In the mornings the house is 17°C.
Rowena, we have synthetic blankets plus heavy comforters (I think they are down), also I wear several layers. When I wake up in the mornings our place is 15C or lower.
Take care.
