I tried making the ume spareribs for a pot luck. Everyone liked it< but I didn't think it tasted similar to hoisin ribs. it was fall off the bone, though.
And funny, I was craving sweet sour ribs today so went to Gulicks to pick up lunch! My standard is chow fun, pork with long beans, pork with eggplant and spareribs. LOL, I guess I like pork. They give so much, it is easily 2 lunches for about $15.
Couldn't think of other recipes you've posted this past year but I like most of them...not the kind that has lots of ingredients, LOL
