scanner

The other day, I need to make a pdf of some paperwork, only problem is that we don't have a scanner.

Well, guess what?! you can actually scan something at a certain convenience store...7-eleven.

The area we live in is very fortunate to have different convenience stores...Lawson, Family Mart, Circle K, Daily Yamazaki & 7-eleven.

Actually before I went straight to 7-eleven to do the scanning, I checked out the other convenience stores, just to be sure.

Yup, only 7-eleven has it. Most other stores won't even know what the heck you are talking about if you try to ask.

It is 30 yen a sheet, so it is pricey, but so worth it if you need to get it done and don't want to buy a scanner.

I love Japanese convenience stores. I think we stopped at every one we went by to see if they had Monaka Jumbo ice cream in different flavors.

I'm glad you found something close by!

I am so spoiled by being in an office for work.. shh haha

Funny thing, a lot of neighborhood liquor stores here used to do stuff like that...scanning, copying, even making keys....though I think not so much anymore.

The japanese are masters at convenience, utilizing space (I'm thinking those foldable sandwich boxes!), and cute food, among other things.

Really hope we get to visit one day! I dream of my first takoyaki experience.

They have no idea what a scanner is? Sounds like my mom... LOL!!! I bet "Fax" option is still available? My mom still tries to fax me something and we don't own a fax machine anymore... haha.

Take care you two.

Yeah, 7-Eleven apparently has taken the lead in Japan, which I was surprised to hear (when I first came here there were nothing but Lawsons everywhere). Did you know you can even access Western Union at 7-Eleven?

did not know that, thanks Victor!

Take care.
